Dr Duff operates on privately insured patients at Hollywood Private Hospital and St John of God Hospital, Subiaco. He offers anterior hip replacement and robotic knee replacement surgeries at both locations.

HOW MUCH WILL SURGERY COST?

Dr Duff has agreements with all major Australian health insurers. This means that you will either have a 'known gap' or 'no gap' for your surgical fee.

Mr Duff's surgical fee is only one of the costs associated with your hospital stay. Other costs include;

  • Anaesthetist fees

  • Hospital charges

  • Inpatient radiology

  • Pharmacy

When you book your surgery, we will provide you with a quote of Dr Duff's surgical fee (with either a 'known gap' or 'no gap'). We will give you the contact details of your anaesthetist, who will be able to advise on any gap fees for their services. You will then need to check with your private health insurer if your policy covers the likely treatment, if you will have any waiting periods and if you will have to pay an excess or co-payment for your hospital admission.
